Triumph Over To-Reads (1)

Friday 31 October 2014

So as you all probably know, like most bookworms I have a TBR problem. The amount of books I have on my goodreads 'to read' shelf is enough to seem impossible at the moment, and I feel bad not reading the books that I have actually bought for myself because of needing to get to review copies and putting them first.

In an attempt to fix the problem, I am going to run this every month for you guys to decide what I read next out of the books that I already have. I'll let you decide by putting up a voting system, where whatever book receives the most votes gets a post on the blog. The book with the second highest number of votes will go into the next draw.

Without further ado, for this month the choices are:

Looking forward to seeing what you choose!

  2. This was such a such choice out of Every Breath and Lola and the Boy Next Door. Buuuuut Every Breath has an Aussie author so of course that one won in the end! Like Jess said, you've definitely got some great reading experiences ahead :)

    1. Aussie authors can definitely give a reading choice that edge (because we love our local talent). If Every Breath wins, I can't wait to read it very soon!

  3. I love this idea, Eugenia! And I am the same way. I buy ALL these books, but then I read review books and library books first. I really need to rectify that soon ...

As for your choices - there were two that came close. Although I went with All Our Yesterdays because it is very brilliant :D I hope you like whatever book comes out on top!

  4. You should definitely read Every Breath! Great new Aussie talent, fantastic mystery series with some awesome simmering sexual tension underlying Watts and Mycroft's friendship. I really loved this book, and I hope you do too! :) But if one of the others win I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of them :)

    1. Those two seem to be quite the popular choices at the moment, but we shall see :) In any case, I can't wait to read any of the books I've put up there! Thanks for voting Kara!
