*Movie Reactions*
I saw this at the movies on my last day of the holidays with some friends, and it definitely had some genuine laugh-out-loud moments. It's a light comedy with a good ending, something that among the other more 'serious' movies out there provides a nice change.

How has your week been?
Oooh yay, Eat the Sky, Drink the Ocean looks FAB. Can't wait to start (although I've got a kind of QUEUE at the moment, haha). Haven't heard of The Wedding Ringer...mostly I just want to see Into the Woods!!
ReplyDeleteInto The Woods got a lot of hype, and though it wasn't my favourite movie I do hope you enjoy it Emily :)
DeleteOooh yay!!! Enjoy the rest of Eat the Sky, Drink the Ocean!
ReplyDeleteI will! Loving it so far :)
DeleteI got Unwanted too!! I was really curious about it because I'd heard literally nothing and..no one even has reviews up on Goodreads yet. Ahhh!! It'll be like going into a book 100% blind. So that'll be interesting. ;-) I'm hopefully going to tackle it this week.
ReplyDeleteIt's always interesting to go into something with no expectations or other people's opinions as a guide - it looks good though!
DeleteHaven't heard of Eat the Sky, Drink the Ocean but the cover is so pretty! The Dogs has a really interesting cover as well, I'll have to look into these. The Wedding Ringer is new to me as well but the cast seems great and I love a movie that can make me laugh!
ReplyDeleteInteresting covers make for interesting storylines in most cases - and I'm finding that with Eat the Sky, Drink the Ocean right now. The Wedding Ringer is a funny movie, great for when you're looking for something light.
DeleteErmagherd Eat the Sky, Drink the Ocean not only has a lovely sounding title but that cover is GORGEOUS. Definitely checking it out. So glad to hear you're enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the February indie challenge!
Thanks for stopping by Jaz :) Eat the Sky, Drink the Ocean is so far stunning in every way!
DeleteThanks for including my post! Eat the Sky, Drink the Ocean sounds like a pretty interesting book, and I love the cover. It kind of gives of a folk tale feel, if you know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Ana :) It's a collection of stories, which does give it that folk tale edge, although what makes it so different and refreshing is that they're all sci-fi/speculative fiction.
DeleteYou know what, I surprisingly like the cover to The Dogs. Don't ask me why but it has a 3 Little Pigs feel to it. Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see what you're saying Steph - I never thought of it that way before!
DeleteOh my gosh, thank you SO MUCH for the mention!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Unwanted looks really good. Can't wait to see what you think of it.
You're welcome Cassie! :) I'm looking forward to starting Unwanted soon (once I try and get through some of my other TBR pile!)
