Thank you to Walker Books Australia for the review copy! I haven't ever read a graphic memoir before so this should be interesting! I've already had a quick flick-through and it looks pretty good already. |

Also, HarperCollins YA tweeted a pic of an ad they ran in Girlfriend magazine for The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly (which is an AMAZING BOOK) and me, along with other YA bloggers were quoted! Very exciting indeed.
We ran this ad in this month's @GirlfriendMAG. Thanks for loving Minnow as much as we do, everyone! pic.twitter.com/NXF9QldGQG

I took the plunge and got Instagram this week! I haven't done that many posts yet, but am looking forward to doing more bookish tags. There are soooo many pretty pictures of books on there (they do make the best models). If you have an Instagram account, let me know in the comments and I'll check it out :)
How has your week been?
Ahhh you were quoted in a magazine!! That is SO COOL :) Aww thanks for the link <33 Liberty's Fire looks really good. Thanks for the rec! Happy weekend !
ReplyDeleteRachel @ A Perfection Called Books
Liberty's Fire is *so* good - one of the best historical novels I've read this year! Thanks Rachel :)
DeleteAhhh shame Another Day isn't as good as Every Day :( I loved that book. AND YAY YOU for being in Girlfriend *bows down in your presence*
ReplyDeleteYeah - I wish it was better, but even so it does have it's good points. One day Em with all your fabulousness, you will be quoted in a magazine too! :)
DeleteI was blown away to see our quotes in there, absolutely awesome stuff! Instagram, I must be the only person not on there now. You see, I have a Windows Phone, which is equivalent to basically having a tin can and string. You can't get any good apps on there. No Goodreads, no Blogger and definitely no Instagram. It's a terrible phone. And the good thing is that now it's starting to pack it up, so the perfect excuse to get a new one. Hooray!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week of reading poppet <3
It is! What a surprise too. Haha that's the one good thing about an old phone dying - time for a better one! :)
DeleteAh, CONGRATS on the magazine!!! That. Is. Awesome! Oh, I remember I read Every day a couple of years ago now--so I'm definitely interested to see what I'll think of this companion novel. Hopefully it'll get better for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kara! I hope so too, I guess I'll just have to see by the end how I like it.
DeleteWoopwoop, congrats on getting into Girlfriend, that's so exciting!! So glad to see that you're on Insta now Eugenia, I can't wait to see what you post :) I hope your have a lovely reading week xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Joy! Yep, it was about time I joined the bookstagram community :)
