I really enjoyed this psychological thriller - it had some complex relationships, and Lauren Oliver's writing style won me over. Review to come in March closer to its release!

Thank you to Penguin Teen Australia, Hardie Grant Egmont and Ginger Scott for these books to review!
  • Kissing In America by Margo Rabb - I love contemporary road-trip novels so I'm looking forward to this one!
  • Wild Reckless by Ginger Scott - I am a huge fan of all of Ginger Scott's books so far, and this one is what I'm hoping will be another amazing hit.
  • Lifespan of Starlight by Thalia Kalkipsakis - YAY for more YA time-travel novels - It's like ever since I mentioned I wanted to see more of these, they keep popping up! This is from a debut author and the first in a trilogy, so I'm excited for it.

On a totally unrelated and non-bookish note, this happened:

Enough from me - what about you? Anything interesting on your book radar?

  1. You know you've made it in life when there's a shoe named after you! :P And what a pretty show it is :D I haven't really been in the mood for contemporary books at all these days, but I really hope you'll enjoy The Last Time We Say Goodbye! It does look really sad, I think I'm going to put it off for a bit. I love the polaroid photo, so cute! Enjoy all your new books Eugenia xx

  3. Pleased you enjoyed Vanishing Girls, I still need to read something by Oliver.. Panic just wasn't for me in the end, *sighs* Last Time We Said Goodbye sounds real emotional and even made some of the toughest cookies cry, so good luck! :)

  6. Lifespan of Starlight sounds like an amazing book. I haven't read too many time travel books, but I love them because it's a mix of two genres that I love: sci-fi and historical fiction. Ahaha, it's so cool there's a shoe with your name.

    1. It was such a random coincidence, though I have to say I didn't buy them (there were some other named shoes which caught my attention!)
