  1. Thank you so much for sharing my post lovely! I just love seeing all the All the Bright Places ARCs, because everyone has different post-it notes. And Buffy, what a win! I'm so excited that you are reading Gone Girl, I've just finished reading it and OMG. It is freaking amazing. And so is the movie, prepare for a disturbing and shocking thrill ride.

    Have a lovely week Genie!

    1. Corruption sounds like it's going to be a fantastic book, and I can't wait to read it! I still need to get to Jessica Shirvington's 'Embrace' series now...

  3. I got All The Bright Places in the mail too!! I was SO surprised. But the sticky-notes are kind of adorable. XD Mine says "snow". I have no idea what the sticky-notes actually mean, but I assume they have a big thing to do with the story??!

    1. They are very cute addition and definitely made me even more intrigued about the book. Penguin Teen Australia used them as part of a twitter campaign a little while ago where people tweeted about what they loved/enjoyed doing :)

  4. Thanks for sharing that Guardian article, it's nice to see them sticking up for YA.

I really want to read Disruption, hopefully I can get to it soon.

    1. It is! YA is unfortunately attracting some negative attention for some reason lately, so it's nice to see a positive article out there. Disruption is amazing, I hope you enjoy it :)

  5. How are you liking Gone Girl? I found it to be quite slow at first, but by the time I finished it, I really enjoyed it. Hope you do, too! I'm also really interested to see what you think of All the Bright Places, as well--there has been quite a bit of buzz surrounding that one.

    1. It was a bit slow in the beginning, but now it is really picking up and I don't know what to make of everything! I have high expectations for All the Bright Places, but from the looks of things it's going to be good!

  6. Just a wild guess...I take it you're reading Gone Girl for the movie? ;) Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on it - especially as many bloggers have said it's a more adult-y version of Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas, which I absolutely adored. :D

And All the Bright Places sounds FANTASTIC! I've heard nothing but fabulous things about it, and I think the sticky notes idea is so clever. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it! :D

Thanks for sharing and, as always, BRILLIANT recap! Happy reading! <3

    1. Your guess is correct Zoe! I'd been wanting to read it for ages before, but now with the upcoming movie release I knew it was time to finally read it, and I'm enjoying it so far. I STILL need to read 'Dangerous Girls' (even though I have a copy) so it's time to read that sometime soon as well! Thanks for stopping by :)

    1. I hope I like it too :) It's been compared to the likes of John Green and Rainbow Rowell so I'm looking forward to it!

  8. I was lucky enough to be sent a copy of All The Bright Places as well, and apparently it's INCREDIBLE! I can't wait to see what you think of Gone Girl. It's not my usual read, but have a copy as well and not sure whether to read it or not. I flicked through the start and it seemed pretty tame. Fantastic recap <3

    1. I just finished Gone Girl and it was definitely a thrilling and mysterious read with some pretty twisted characters. I'd recommend it if you want a book which teaches you to expect the unexpected and wonder why nothing is as it seems! I'm looking into reading more by Gillian Flynn now after finishing it, so I'll see how 'Dark Places' or 'Sharp Objects' (two very ominous-sounding books there) go for me.
