The second volume is just as good, if not even better than the first :)Eugeniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05456002470250311235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530164804090408863.post-40274600986800152032014-10-25T09:00:09.938+11:002014-10-25T09:00:09.938+11:00Reading the original novel is good to give you a f...Reading the original novel is good to give you a full grasp of the story and makes it even better when reading it this way, but they could still stand on their own. I have to say, that as my first delve into the world of graphic novels I was surprised at how much I enjoyed these! Yes you should read The Graveyard Book - it's really good! I love the illustrations in it - especially the parts with the Sleer. I loved how the artists made the Sleer's dialogue look all misty and creepy. I definitely have to read the second one before Halloween. =)

Jazzie @ The Book DancerThe Book Dancerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12973097821404325173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530164804090408863.post-13477858833860610492014-10-24T19:08:03.138+11:002014-10-24T19:08:03.138+11:00Love the pictures!

I can't really say whether graphic novels are something I like--I haven't read any of them, so it wouldn't be fair of me to judge. :) Buuut in saying that this does look really great, though I'd probably read the actual book first.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530164804090408863.post-17708205277165747052014-10-24T14:55:55.349+11:002014-10-24T14:55:55.349+11:00I only read my first graphic novel this week too! ...I only read my first graphic novel this week too! I read the first two Terry Pratchett's Discworld books as graphic novels. Which I'm glad about....because I have a good feel of the story and I think I'd be brave enough to actually attempt the books. Hehe.
I haven't read The Graveyard Book BUT I WANT TO. My sister did and loved it and gosh... knowing she's read a book I haven't is most distressing. I need to fix this. ;-)CG @ Paper Furyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14954615708675952085noreply@blogger.com
